Description: The Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) is currently seeking Members at the PM-06 level for both the Refugee Protection Division (RPD) and the Immigration Division (ID).

Contracted designated representatives – Eastern region

Description: We’re recruiting contracted designated representatives (DR) for our Eastern region.         

In this vital role, you’ll represent individuals in Canada’s immigration and refugee protection system who can’t represent themselves because they’re under 18 years of age or unable to understand the nature of the proceedings. Deputy Chairperson (Refugee Appeal Division)

Description: Reporting to the IRB Chairperson, the Deputy Chairperson, Refugee Appeal Division, drives the work of the division and is a contributing and active member of the IRB's senior executive team. The Deputy Chairperson provides strategic and hands on leadership to the management of the refugee appeal tribunal, delivering, on an annual basis, a program which ensures that more than 11,000 appeal decisions are made in a timely manner, fairly, efficiently and in accordance with the law. As a senior executive in the IRB, the Deputy Chairperson also contributes to the overall governance and management of the Board.
